Gabe W. Below is Manager of the Federal Advocacy Practice. Gabe specializes in relationship development and public policy monitoring and advocacy. Since joining LNE Group, Gabe has developed an extensive network of relationships with Congressional offices and executive agencies which he successfully leverages for client needs.
Prior to joining LNE Group, Gabe completed his Master of Public Administration degree at Cleveland State University’s Levin College of Urban Affairs, specializing in city management. At Levin, he served as a research assistant working on a variety of public policy and management issues including renewable energy financing, food deserts, and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Gabe was awarded the Sylvester Murray Award in recognition of his academic achievement in the MPA program and his potential for contribution to public affairs. Gabe also has a strong background in the natural sciences as a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s in biology and a minor in chemistry, and as a former biologist in a commercial toxicology laboratory.
Gabe came to LNE Group from the Put-in-Bay Jet Express where he was a part of the management team for seven years. There he directed client charters and special projects, worked with government agencies and commissions, trained and supervised seasonal staff, and enjoyed Lake Erie.
Gabe lives in the Tremont neighborhood. He enjoys politics, tennis, biking Cleveland Metroparks, experiencing Cleveland’s local food scene, and traveling to Washington, DC.
