Jon Weingart is an Associate in the Federal Advocacy Practice. He works out of the firm’s Washington, DC office and performs a variety of tasks, including attending Congressional hearings, contacting Congressional staff members, maintaining the DC office and performing research.
A Baltimore-area native, Jon attended McDonogh School and then continued his education at Duke University. He graduated in 2011 with a B.A. in Public Policy and a minor in Economics. A devout Duke Basketball fan, he lived in a tent during his freshman year for two months in order to obtain tickets for the Duke-UNC game. Prior to joining LNE Group, Jon worked as an Investigative Intern for the Legal Aid Society of Brooklyn, where he travelled around to housing projects in Brooklyn to investigate crimes.
Jon currently lives just outside of D.C. in College Park, Maryland. He enjoys travelling, and in particular exploring the local cuisine and culture. He also enjoys watching sports, playing basketball, learning new languages, and spending time with family and friends.
